Randomness after the jump.
This photo is from last weekend, but its super nice living in the same building as 2 auto journalists. Get to see all the new stuff right away. My damn lucky room mate got a ride in a SLS convertible last year.
In case anyone cares, Rory writes for AutoWeek & Steven writes for Autoblog. Their Instagrams are worth a follow.
(thats my friend's Miata there ^ )

Good news!

Ha, good point actually. But a counterpoint would be, any fast Audi I can buy for a 1/6th of the RS5's price is going to cost a boatload to fix.
Maybe someday I can DD an Audi …. but today isn't one of those days.

Yeah, that's the rumor. I'll tell you something though. I had an A6 2.7T for 5 years. I bought it with 38k miles on it. I was great until I blew the turbos at 98k. During that time I replaced a CV boot, temp sensor and a leaky valve cover gasket. My wife has an A4 that we bought at 24k miles. It has 84k now. We've recharged the AC and replaced two blow coil packs. Now, I fully expect to have some expensive stuff break at 100k. Seems like all German cars do. But man, until 100k miles they sure are a lot of fun. Then again, maybe I'm lucky?
I expect to replace the turbo in my MK6 GTI by 80k miles. It's so fun to drive hard.

Damn … I like the Audi you had.
My Crossfire just crossed the 100k mark and I'm about to replace the water pump. Its only going to cost me a hundred bucks or so and it won't be that difficult, thinking about doing one on a Audi makes my head hurt.
But I've heard a fair amount of stories like yours, aka they aren't that bad …. an Audi would be the perfect DD for Michigan.
I already was a fan, hearing more positive owner's reviews just make the case for one better.

Ah, you live in Michigan though! You will get scowling looks from big three owners! I used to live in Saginaw and Jackson. Head up there next weekend to visit friends in Clarkston.
Changing the turbos in my A6 was EXPENSIVE! But I really enjoyed that car and drove it pretty hard. Always did the maintenance as scheduled but had fun with it. V6 Crossfire?

Lol don't care what the locals think, my last car was foreign. But yea they are all V6's, mines not supercharged though, SRT's are still too much $.
I think I've seen photos like this too many times.
I love Quattro, but damn, does doing every repair require you to remove the front!?
